National Night Out is a nation-wide annual event organized by local communities to build trust and relationships between residents, businesses, and police and fire departments in order to make our neighborhoods more safe.
The Greater Irondale Chamber is pleased to co-sponsor the Irondale Police Department's National Night Out 2016 next Tuesday, October 4.
Mark your calendars now, and plan to attend this family-friendly event at the depot station (across from the Irondale Cafe) in historic downtown Irondale. There will be free food, carnival games, Pucker Powder, petting zoo, McGruff the Crime Dog, and much more!
The Chamber is honored to join an impressive list of area businesses that are organized in support of this community partnership event:
Jefferson Christian Academy
Kirkwood by the River
Peak Season, Inc.
|Private Eyes (Grantswood)
The Retreat at Mountain Brook
Waldrep Stewart & Kendrick, LLC
The clouds were sparse and the vendors plentiful at the 2016 Whistle Stop Festival!
The day set records for heat index on a Saturday in September, but those who attended the WSF in downtown Irondale were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the music was toe-tapping, and the vendors provided information, crafts, and merchandise for just about every interest! Check out our photos here.
We'll see y'all next year!
Last week the Greater Irondale Chamber was delighted to host international speaker, Joe Thomas, author of the book, Everybody Knows Joe: 11 Keys to Impactful Networking. Mr. Thomas was both informative and entertaining! We're confident anyone you speak to who attended the luncheon will tell you they were glad they did. (To see photos, click here.)
Thank you, once again, to Sain Associates for sponsoring this month's luncheon.
